No Catalog for 2022: Although we usually have published and mailed out a printed descriptive catalog every winter, these are very unusual times. In general economic terms, when the pandemic hit the world early in the Spring of 2020, it broke supply chains, disrupted shipping channels, and created labor shortages. Demand for certain products has exceeded supply, and in the case of seeds, the renewed interest in gardening along with unusual weather patterns has compounded availability. Considering all of these uncertainties, printing a catalog is just not practical at this time. Since we can update the website on a daily basis, it will be our only "catalog" for the foreseeable future. If you prefer not to order online, you can still place standard mail orders. We are an early signer of the Safe Seed Pledge
All of our seeds are open-pollinated, non-hybrid, not chemically treated, many are rare, family heirlooms or endangered, and we will never knowingly offer genetically engineered, aka GMO, varieties.
Mini FAQ
For nearly twenty-five years, people from all over the world have sent us their interesting and prized family seed varieties. Although our grow out schedules are tight, we do fit in quite a few "new" varieties each year. We eventually trial them and make as many as possible available to gardeners.
